QU’EST-CE QUE PEMETREXED BAXTER ET DANS QUELS CAS EST-IL UTILISÉ
PEMETREXED BAXTER est un médicament utilisé dans le traitement du
cancer.
PEMETREXED BAXTER est donné en association avec le cisplatine, un
autre médicament
anticancéreux, comme traitement contre le mésothéliome pleural
malin, une forme de cancer qui
touche l’enveloppe du poumon, chez les patients qui n’ont pas
reçu de chimiothérapie antérieure.
PEMETREXED BAXTER est également donné en association avec le
cisplatine comme traitement
initial des patients atteints d’un cancer du poumon au stade
avancé.
PEMETREXED BAXTER peut vous être prescrit si vous avez un cancer du
poumon à un stade
avancé si votre maladie a répondu au traitement ou si elle n’a pas
beaucoup évolué après une
chimiothérapie initiale.
PEMETREXED BAXTER est également un traitement pour les patients
atteints d’un cancer du
poumon au stade avancé dont la maladie a progressé, après avoir
reçu une

COMPOSITION QUALITATIVE ET QUANTITATIVE
PEMETREXED BAXTER 100 mg, poudre pour solution à diluer pour
perfusion
Chaque flacon contient 100 mg de pémétrexed (sous forme de
pémétrexed disodique).

Chaque flacon contient approximativement 11 mg de sodium.
PEMETREXED BAXTER 500 mg, poudre pour solution à diluer pour
perfusion
Chaque flacon contient 500 mg de pémétrexed (sous forme de
pémétrexed disodique).

Chaque flacon contient approximativement 54 mg de sodium.
Après reconstitution (voir rubrique 6.6), chaque flacon contient 25
mg/mL de pémétrexed.

INFORMATIONS CLINIQUES
4.1
INDICATIONS THÉRAPEUTIQUES
Mésothéliome pleural malin
PEMETREXED BAXTER, en association avec le cisplatine, est indiqué
dans le traitement des
patients atteints de mésothéliome pleural malin non résécable et
qui n’ont pas reçu de chimiothérapie
antérieure.
Cancer bronchique non à petites cellules
PEMETREXED BAXTER, en association avec le cisplatine, est indiqué
dans le traitement en
première ligne des patients atteints de cancer bronchique non à
petites cellules localement avancé ou
métastatique, dès lors que l’histologie n’est pas à
prédominance épidermoïde (voir rubrique 5.1).
PEMETREXED BAXTER est indiqué en monothérapie dans le traitement de
maintenance du cancer
bronchique non à petites cellules, localement avancé ou
métastatique immédiatement à la suite d’une
chimiothérapie à base de sel de platine, dès lors que
l’histologie n’est pas à prédominance épider
