WHAT COUNTERPAIN PATCH HOT IS USED FOR Counterpain Patch Hot is used for muscular and joint pain associated with lumbago, bruise, sprain, stiff shoulder, arthralgia, aching muscle, muscle fatigue, chilblains, bone- fracture pains. HOW COUNTERPAIN PATCH HOT WORKS Counterpain Patch Hot contains the active ingredients Glycol Salicylate 2.0% w/w, l-Menthol 1.0% w/w, 4-Hydroxy-3- methoxybenzyl Nonylic Acide Amide 0.013% w/w and Tocopherol Acetate (Vitamin E) 0.8% w/w. GLYCOL SALICYLATE is a salicylic acid derivate used similarly to methyl salicylate in topical rubefacient preparations for the relief of muscular and rheumatic pain. L-MENTHOL is an organic compound that occurs naturally in mint plants, but it can also be made synthetically.
