Flank applicalion 60g should be applied each milking to the ribs, using ? paint brush or plastic squeeze bottte, As a spr ay: 85g of NO-BLOAT per cow per day. This means that 4.5kg will protect 50 cows per day. The amount of water added to NO·B LOAT is not important providing there is sufficient to cover the selected grazing strip. We suggest Ihat in the first instance an average size strip sufficient for one days grazing be sprayed with cold water ONLY to ascertain Ihe amount of water required to be added 10 Ihe NO-BLOAT. Alternatively, as a rough guide, it may be said that rich pastures often are best served with a dilulion of 20:r . On the other hand. to ensure reasonably complete penetration, rich pastures that have been idle and show heavy growth might require a greater dilulion Ihan 20:1. Paddocks with a lower carrying capacity may be suited by dilutions as high as 60: t . Method of miXing : It is preferred that the water be added to Ihe NO-BLOAT.
