Teriflunomide Teva is indicated for the treatment of adult patients with relapsing remitting forms of Multiple Sclerosis (MS) to reduce the frequency of clinical relapses and to delay the progression of physical disability.

Please review the patient safety information card and the patient leaflet before using the medicine. You should keep the card for further review, if necessary. 1. WHAT IS THE MEDICINE INTENDED FOR? Teriflunomide Teva contains the active substance teriflunomide which is a substance that affects the immune system by limiting its attack on the nervous system. Teriflunomide Teva is intended for treatment of adults with relapsing- remitting multiple sclerosis in order to decrease the rate of attacks and to slow down the progression of disability. WHAT IS MULTIPLE SCLEROSIS? Multiple Sclerosis (MS) is a chronic illness that affects the central nervous system (CNS). The central nervous system is composed of the brain and the spinal cord. In multiple sclerosis, inflammation destroys the protecting cover (called Myelin) around nerve fibers in the central nervous system.
