IS USED FOR

upper respiratory tract infection, lower
respiratory
tract
infections,
skin

soft
tissue
infections
and
genital
urinary tract infections.

HOW CLAMENTIN
® POWDER FOR SYRUP
WORKS
Clamentin
®
Powder for Syrup consists
of
active
substances
Amoxycillin/Clavulanic
Acid.
These
medicine
work
by
killing
bacteria,
which cause infections.
BEFORE YOU USE CLAMENTIN
® POWDER
FOR SYRUP
_- When you must not use it _
Do
not
use
Clamentin
®
Powder
for
Syrup if:
•
you have had an allergic reaction to
penicillin
or
similar
types
of
antibiotics (such as cephalosporins)
or any of the ingredients contained
in Clamentin
®
Powder for Syrup.
The ingredients are listed at the end
of
this
leaflet.
Some
of
the
symptoms of an allergic reactions
may
include
skin
rash,
itching,
difficulty in breathing and swelling
of the face or tongue.
•
you
have
previously
experienced
liver
problems
after
using
Clamentin
®
Powder for Syrup or
any other penicillin antibiotic.

ever
had

allergic
reaction
(such
as
a
rash)
to
antibiotics

penicillin

other substances in the past.
