WHAT CLAMENTIN
® POWDER FOR SYRUP
IS USED FOR
It is used for short-term treatment in
upper respiratory tract infection, lower
respiratory
tract
infections,
skin
and
soft
tissue
infections
and
genital
urinary tract infections.
Your
doctor
may
have
prescribed
Clamentin
®
Powder
for
Syrup
for
another reason. Ask your doctor if you
have
any
questions

Powder for Syrup has been
prescribed for you.
HOW CLAMENTIN
® POWDER FOR SYRUP
WORKS
Clamentin
®
Powder for Syrup consists
of
active
substances
Amoxycillin/Clavulanic
Acid.
These
medicine
work
by
killing
bacteria,
which cause infections.
BEFORE YOU USE CLAMENTIN
® POWDER
FOR SYRUP
_- When you must not use it _
Do
not
use
Clamentin
®
Powder
for
Syrup if:
•
you have had an allergic reaction to
penicillin
or
similar
types
of
antibiotics (such as cephalosporins)
or any of the ingredients contained
in Clamentin
®
Powder for Syrup.
The ingredients are listed at the end
of
this
leaflet.
Some
of
the
symptoms of an allergic reactions
may
include
skin
rash,
itching,
difficulty in breathing and swelling
of the face or tongue.
•
you
have
previously
experienced
liver
problems
after
using
Clamentin
®
Powder for Syrup or
any other penicillin antibiotic.

Tell your doctor if:
•
you
have
ever
had
an
allergic
reaction
(such
as
a
rash)
to
antibiotics
such
as
penicillin
or
other substances in the past.
•
you
are
allergic
to
foods,
dyes,
preservatives
or
any
other
medicines.
