EFFECTS OF THIS MEDICINE
This medicine increases bladder capacity, suppresses urination, and
suppresses bladder
contraction by anticholinergic activity and direct effect to bladder
smooth muscle due to
calcium antagonistic activity.
It is usually used to treat frequent urination/incontinence of urine
caused by neurogenic
bladder, nervous pollakiuria, unstable bladder and bladder irritation
state (chronic cystitis,
chronic prostatitis). It is also used to treat urge to
urinate/frequent urination/urge incontinence
caused by overactive bladder.
THE FOLLOWING PATIENTS MAY NEED TO BE CAREFUL WHEN USING THIS
MEDICINE.BE SURE TO TELL YOUR DOCTOR
AND PHARMACIST.
・If you have previously experienced any allergic reactions (itch,
rash, etc.) to any medicines
or foods.
If you have pyloric/duodenal/bowel obstruction, gastric/intestinal
atony, urinary retention,
angle-closure glaucoma, myasthenia gravis or heart disease.
・If you are pregnant or breastfeeding.
・If you are taking any other medicinal products. (Some medicines may
interact to enhance or
diminish medicinal effects. Beware of over-the-counter medicines and
dietary supplements
as well as other prescription medicines.)
