The HI-TORQUE STEELCORE?18 LT Guide Wire is a steerable guide wire with a nominal diameter of 0.018? and comes in lengths of 130 cm, 190 cm, and 300 cm. The guide wire tip consists of a tip coil and an intermediate coil. The tip coil is platinum nickel and the intermediate coil is stainless steel coil. The distal tip comes in straight(shapeable) and J-shaped configuration.The guide wire has microglide coating to facilitate movement in the vessels. The Hi-Torque Steelcore 18 LT Guide Wires are intended to facilitate the placement of balloon dilatation catheters during percutaneous transluminal coronary angioplasty (PTCA) and percutaneous transluminal angioplasty (PTA).
