FIRST Drench Hi-Mineral is a unique combination of praziquantel, a highly effective tapeworm agent, together with members of both the levamisole and benzimidazole families. First Drench Hi-Mineral also provides a supplemental source of cobalt, copper and selenium to support growth, reproduction and the immune system. Cobalt also supports energy and protein metabolism while copper also provides support for wool growth and appearance. FIRST Drench Hi-Mineral is highly effective against heads and segments of tapeworm and mature and immature _Haemonchus_, _Teladorsagia (Ostertagia)_, _Trichostrongylus_, _Nematodirus_, _Cooperia_, _Strongyloides_, _Bunostomum_, _Oesophagostomum_, _Chabertia_, _Trichuris_, _Dictyocaulus_ and adult fluke (_Fasciola hepatica_) resistant to levamisole and benzimidazole families. Resistance may develop to any anthelmintic. It is advisable that a resistance test be conducted regularly when using any parasite treatment. Ask your local veterinary practitioner or animal health adviser for recommended parasite management practices for your area to reduce development of resistance.
