EFFECTS OF THIS MEDICINE
This medicine shows specific and reversible immunosuppressive effect
for lymphocytes and
suppresses abnormal immunoreaction by mainly suppressing activation of
T-helper cells.
It is usually used to treat Behcet's disease (if there is an eye
symptom) and other noninfective
uveitis (limited to active intermediate or posterior noninfective
uveitis which existing
treatments are insufficient and are with fear of reduced visual
acuity), psoriasis vulgaris (if
eruption is more than 30% of the whole body or refractory), pustular
psoriasis, psoriatic
erythroderma, arthropathic psoriasis, aplastic anemia, pure red cell
aplasia, nephrotic
syndrome (if frequent recurrence type or steroid resistance),
generalized myasthenia gravis (if
steroid is insufficient or it is difficult by adverse reaction in
treatment after thymectomy) and
atopic dermatitis (patient which existing treatments are
insufficient).
