Statements:
Iron Gleptoferron 484.7 mg/mL (equivalent to 182 mg/mL iron)
Toltrazuril 36.4 mg/mL
Claims:
For the control of coccidiosis and prevention of iron deficiency
anaemia in piglets.
For the prevention of clinical signs of coccidiosis in neonatal
piglets on farms with a
confirmed history of coccidiosis caused by Cystoisospora suis and
concurrent prevention of
iron deficiency anaemia in piglets.

Directions for Use:
Restraints:
NOT TO BE USED to treat animals weighing less than 900g.
Contraindications:
This product should not be used in piglets deficient in Vitamin
E/selenium, with bacterial
diarrhoea or hypersensitive to the ingredients.
Do not use in piglets suspected to be suffering from a deficiency of
vitamin E and/or
selenium.
Do not use in animals with diarrhoea caused by bacterial infections
(e.g. E. coli).
Do not use in cases of hypersensitivity to the active substances or to
any of the excipients.
Precautions:
Use with caution as this product is to be used only once in each
animal’s lifetime.

Side Effects:
Commonly transient discolouration of the tissue and/or slight swelling
may be observed at
the site of injection. Anaphylactic reactions may occur very rarely.
Deaths have occurred
very rarely in piglets following administration of parenteral iron
dextran preparations.
These deaths have been associated with genetic factors or deficiency
of vitamin E and/ or
selenium.
The frequency of adverse reactions is defined using the following
convention:
- very common (more than 1 in 10 animals treated displaying adverse
reaction(s))
- common (more than 1 but less than 10 animals in 100 animals treated
)
- uncommon (more than 1 but less than 10 animals in 1,000 animals
treated)
- rare (more than 1 but le
