For the prevention of clinical signs of coccidiosis in neonatal piglets on farms with a confirmed history of coccidiosis caused by Cystoisospora suis and concurrent prevention of iron deficiency anaemia in piglets. Net Contents: 100 mL Directions for Use: Restraints: NOT TO BE USED to treat animals weighing less than 900g. Contraindications: This product should not be used in piglets deficient in Vitamin E/selenium, with bacterial diarrhoea or hypersensitive to the ingredients. Do not use in piglets suspected to be suffering from a deficiency of vitamin E and/or selenium. Do not use in animals with diarrhoea caused by bacterial infections (e.g. E. coli). Do not use in cases of hypersensitivity to the active substances or to any of the excipients. Precautions: Use with caution as this product is to be used only once in each animal’s lifetime. READ THE ENCLOSED LEAFLET RLP APPROVED Side Effects: Commonly transient discolouration of the tissue and/or slight swelling may be observed at the site of injection. Anaphylactic reactions may occur very rarely. Deaths have occurred very rarely in piglets following administration of parenteral iron dextran preparations. These deaths have been associated with genetic factors or deficiency of vitamin E and/ or selenium.
