Solution pour application cutanée
COMPOSITION : solution de chlorure de benzalkonium : 0,985 g
(quantité correspondant à chlorure de benzalkonium : 0,500
g), solution
de digluconate de chlorhexidine : 1,065 g (quantité correspondant à
digluconate de chlorhexidine : 0,200 g). Excipients : solution à 30 %
d’alkyldiméthylbétaine, copolymère d’éthylène oxyde et
propylène
oxyde, hydroxyéthylcellulose, acide citrique monohydraté, citrate de
sodium, eau purifiée, q.s.p. 100 ml. Flacon de 125 ml ou 300 ml.

dans les cas suivants : - allergie à l’un des
constituants, notamment à la chlorhexidine (ou à sa classe chimique)

naires) - ne pas appliquer dans les yeux, les oreilles, ne pas
utiliser pour
la désinfection du matériel médico-chirurgical.

ge externe. Il existe un risque de passage des principes actifs dans

circulation générale en cas d’utilisation sur une grande surface,

pansement occlusif, sur une peau lésée (en particulier brûlée),
une peau
de prématuré ou de nourrisson. 
PRÉCAUTIONS D’EMPLOI : utiliser proprement et ne pas garder long-
temps un flacon entamé car une contamination microbienne est pos-
sible dès l’ouverture, d’autant plus si le volume du flacon est
supérieur
à 250 ml.

4. CLINICAL PARTICULARS 

4.1.

Therapeutic indications  

Cleansing and adjuvant treatment of disorders of the skin and mucous
membranes, primarily of 
bacterial origin or liable to become suprainfected. 

Note: antiseptic agents do not sterilise, they temporarily reduce
the number of      micro-
organisms.

4.2.

Posology and method of administration

The solution is used undiluted or diluted, once or twice a day for 7
to 10 days. 

Use undiluted: apply to the skin. 

Use diluted 1:10: apply to the mucous membranes. The dilute solution
must be prepared 
immediately before use and should not be stored. 

Application should ALWAYS BE FOLLOWED BY CAREFUL RINSING. 

 4.3.

Contra-indications

-  Hypersensitivity to one of the components, particularly
chlorhexidine (or compounds in its 
chemical class) or benzalkonium chloride (quaternary
ammonium compounds). 
-  Do not apply to the eyes or ears.  
-  This product must not penetrate the auditory canal,
particularly in the event of perforated 
eardrums, nor, as a general rule, come into contact with nervous
tissue or meninges.
