Amgrow Patrol Lawn Grub & Beetle Killer Granules will rid your lawn of Lawn Beetles and Grubs damaging grass and roots. The granular form ensures maximum penetration of soil. If lawn areas have excessive thatch on the soil surface this can reduce the effectiveness of the insecticide. THE LIFECYCLE OF LAWN BEETLES Adult beetles feed on grass roots from September to November. Eggs are laid in October and November and then the adult beetles die. Within two weeks, eggs hatch to tiny grubs which feed on grass roots from November to January. Grubs then bury deeply in the soil, and change to beetles during February. The newly hatched beetles feed on grass roots until April or May, when they bury deeply into the soil and become dormant during winter. The cycle starts again in September.
