QUALITATIVE AND QUANTITATIVE COMPOSITION
For 250 mg strength:
Each film-coated tablet contains 250 mg levetiracetam.
For 500 mg strength:
Each film-coated tablet contains 500 mg levetiracetam.
For 750 mg strength:
Each film-coated tablet contains 750 mg levetiracetam.
Excipient(s) with known effect:
Each film-coated tablet contains 0.168 mg of Sunset Yellow FCF (E110).
For 1000 mg strength:
Each film-coated tablet contains 1000 mg levetiracetam.

Film-coated tablets.
For 250 mg strength:
Blue colored, capsule shaped tablets with deep notch on one side.
For 500 mg strength:
Yellow colored, capsule shaped tablets with deep notch on one side.

Orange colored, capsule shaped tablets with deep notch on one side.
For 1000 mg strength:
White colored, capsule shaped tablets with deep notch on one side.

CLINICAL PARTICULARS
4.1 THERAPEUTIC INDICATIONS
Locres is indicated as monotherapy in the treatment of partial onset
seizures with or without
secondary generalisation in adults and adolescents from 16 years of
age with newly diagnosed
epilepsy.
Locres is indicated as adjunctive therapy

in the treatment of partial onset seizures with or without secondary
generalisation in adults,
adolescents, children and infants from 1 month of age with epilepsy.

in the treatment of myoclonic seizures in adults and adolescents from
12 years of age with
Juvenile Myoclonic Epilepsy.

in the treatment of primary generalised tonic-clonic seizures in
adults and adolescents from
12 years of age with Idiopathic Generalised Epilepsy.
4.2 POSOLOGY AND METHOD OF ADMINISTRATION
