EFFECTS OF THIS MEDICINE
This medicine suppresses excessive growth of abnormal cells by
inhibiting synthesis of
adenine and guanine nucleotide which are components of DNA required
for the growth of
cells.
It is usually used for the remission of subjective and objective
symptoms in acute leukemia
and chronic myeloid leukemia.
THE FOLLOWING PATIENTS MAY NEED TO BE CAREFUL WHEN USING THIS
MEDICINE.BE SURE TO TELL YOUR DOCTOR
AND PHARMACIST.
・If you ever experienced any allergic reaction (itch, rash, etc.) to
any medicines or foods.
If you are a patient with hepatic or renal disorder, myelosuppression,
complicating infection,
or varicella (chickenpox).
・If you are pregnant or breastfeeding.
・If you are taking any other medicinal products. (Some medicines may
interact to enhance or
diminish medicinal effects. Beware of over-the-counter medicines and
