_IMPORTANT INFORMATION ABOUT SOME OF THE INGREDIENTS IN THIS MEDICINE_
TRITACE COMP CONTAINS SODIUM. This medicine contains less than
1 mmol sodium (23 mg) per tablet, that is to say it is essentially
“sodium-free”.
3. HOW SHOULD YOU USE THE MEDICINE?
Always use the preparation according to the doctor’s instructions.
Check with the doctor or pharmacist if you are uncertain about the
dosage and treatment regimen of the preparation.
The dosage and treatment regimen will be determined by the doctor
only.
_Treatment of hypertension_
Your doctor will adjust the dosage until control of your blood
pressure
is attained.
Elderly patients
Your doctor may lower the initial dosage and increase it slowly during
the treatment.
DO NOT EXCEED THE RECOMMENDED DOSE.
METHOD OF ADMINISTRATION
• Take the tablet orally, at the same time every day, usually in the
morning.
• Swallow the medicine with a liquid.
• Do not chew or crush the tablets.
• The Tritace Comp 2.5 mg / 12.5 mg and Tritace Comp 5 mg / 25 mg
tablet can be halved on the score line to equal halves, and the half
dose taken when needed.
_IF YOU ACCIDENTALLY TOOK A HIGHER DOSAGE OR IF A CHILD ACCIDENTALLY _
_SWALLOWED THE MEDICINE:_
Refer immediately to a doctor or proceed to a hospital emergency
room, and bring the package of the medicine with you so that the
doctor will know what you took.
Do not drive by yourself; ask someone else to drive you or call for
an ambulance.
_IF YOU FORGOT TO TAKE THE MEDICINE:_
- If you forgot to take this medicine at the designated time, take the
next dose at the regular time and consult a doctor.
- Do not take a double dose to make up for the forgotten dose!
Adhere to the treatment regimen as recommended by the doctor.
DO NOT TAKE MEDICINES IN THE DARK! CHECK THE LABEL AND THE DOSE
EACH TIME YOU TAKE MEDICINE. WEAR GLASSES IF YOU NEED THEM.

4. SIDE EFFECTS
As with any medicine, use of Tritace Comp may
