How to Use:
HOW TO USE:
The use rate for Sumilarv Granular is 0.5 to 2.0 g per 100 L. Disperse
granules as uniformly
as possible in the container.
• Use the lower (0.5 g per 100L water) rate to control insect
breeding in water of volumes
up
to 100L for up to 4 weeks.
• Use higher rates (up to 2.0 g per 100L water) if you wish to have
longer control. RLP APPROVED

• For smaller water volumes (less than 100L) the lower rate will
provide extended control.
• For polluted water or areas subject to inundation by polluted
water and high sediment and
organic matter loads, higher rates should be applied at more frequent
intervals to maintain
insect breeding suppression.
• The length of control will depend on a number of factors including
water volume, dilution
by
rainfall, runoff or irrigation and organic matter content.
• For very small water volumes (eg. pot plant holders) granules can
withstand periodic
drying
out and may be left in the holder and periodically inundated.

GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS
Sumilarv Granular provides control of Mosquitoes
(including Aedes, Anopheles and Culex spp.), Biting
and Nuisance Midges (Chironomidae and
Ceratopogonidae spp.) and Drain and Latrine Flies
(Psychoda and Chrysomya spp.).
Sumilarv Granular can be used in areas where there
are temporary pools of water alongside roads and in
parks and gardens; in roof gutters; in small artificial
water holding containers including bird baths, non-
breeding fish ponds, disused tyres, pot plant holders,
cans, buckets, jars, tarpaulins, boats, etc. and in
small natural water holding situations such as water-
holding ornamental plants (eg bromeliads) or fallen
palm fronds, etc; in potable (drinking) water holding
tanks and containers and in household sewerage
processing or retention facilities, pit toilets, sullage
pits, sumps and stormwater retention pits.
