EFFECTS OF THIS MEDICINE
This activated vitamin D

increases serum calcium level by enhancing digestive absorption of
calcium, improves bone metabolic turnover, and prompts bone formation.
It is usually used to
treat osteoporosis and to improve vitamin D metabolism
abnormality-associated symptoms
caused by chronic renal failure, hypoparathyroidism, or
rickets/osteomalacia.
THE FOLLOWING PATIENTS MAY NEED TO BE CAREFUL WHEN USING THIS
MEDICINE.BE SURE TO TELL YOUR DOCTOR
AND PHARMACIST.
・If you have previously experienced any allergic reaction (itch,
rash etc.) to any medicines or
foods.
If you are a patient with hypercalcemia, vitamin D poisoning symptom
or
hyperphosphatemia.
If you are on receiving hemodialysis.
