INDICATIONS: At the dosage rate of 5.4 g per 100 kg bodyweight,
MORABEC ALLWORMING HORSE PASTE is
indicated for the treatment and control of the following parasites in
horses:
ASCARIDS: _Parascaris equorum _(adult and immature)
BOTS: _Gasterophilus _spp_. _(oral and gastric stages)
HAIRWORMS: _Trichostrongylus axei _(adult)
INTESTINAL THREADWORMS: _Strongylus westeri _(adult)
LARGE MOUTH STOMACH WORMS: _Habronema muscae _(adult)
LARGE STRONGYLES AND SMALL STRONGYLES: _Strongylus vulgaris _(adults
and arterial larval stages), _Strongylus edentatus _
(both adult and tissue stages), _Strongylus equinus _(adults) and
_Triodontophorus _spp_. _(adults). _Cyathostomum_ spp., _Cyliocyclus_
spp.,
_Cylicostephanus s_pp., _Gyalocephalus_ spp.
LUNGWORMS: _Dictyocaulus arnfieldi _(adult and immature)
PINWORMS: _Oxyuris equi _(adult and immature)
TAPEWORMS: _Anoplocephala perfoliata. _
DIRECTIONS FOR USE: DOSAGE AND ADMINISTRATION: BY LAW THE USER MUST
TAKE DUE CARE, OBTAINING EXPERT ADVICE WHEN NECESSARY, TO
AVOID UNNECESSARY PAIN AND DISTRESS WHEN USING THE PRODUCT OTHER THAN
AS DIRECTED ON THE LABEL.
Given orally at the recommended dose rate of 5.4 g or 5 mL/100 kg
bodyweight, the 30 mL syringe is capable of treating horses of weight
up to
600 kg. The dose of 5.4 g or 5 mL/100 kg bodyweight delivers 0.22
mg/kg of ABAMECTIN and 9.0 mg/kg of MORANTEL TARTRATE.
Screw the plastic adjuster out to the weight of the horse, remove the
cap and insert the syringe into the side of the horse’s mouth
between the front
and back teeth and deposit the paste towards the back of the tongue by
depressing the plunger as quickly as possible as far as it will go.
Immediately raise the horses head for a few seconds to ensure the full
dose has been accepted.
