A monitoring system intended for the continuous non-invasive monitoring of functional oxygen saturation of arterial haemoglobin (SpO2) and Pulse Rate (PR) through communication to compatible medical technologies, which allows physicians to monitor levels of SpO2 desaturation notifications. For example: monitoring of adults and paediatrics for substance induced oxygen desaturations (e.g. OIRD caused by oral or injectable opioids). It is indicated for use with adult, paediatric and neonatal patients during both motion, no motion and low perfusion conditions in both hospital and home environments.
