2. QUALITATIVE AND QUANTITATIVE COMPOSITION
MARCAIN PLAIN 0.25%: Each mL of solution for injection contains 2.5mg
of bupivacaine
hydrochloride.
MARCAIN PLAIN 0.5%: Each mL of solution for injection contains 5mg of
bupivacaine
hydrochloride.
MARCAIN (POLYBAG) 0.25%: Each mL of solution for infusion contains
2.5mg of bupivacaine
hydrochloride.
MARCAIN WITH ADRENALINE 1:400,000/0.25%: Each mL of solution for
injection contains
2.5mg of bupivacaine hydrochloride and 2.5micrograms of adrenaline
(epinephrine) as acid
tartrate.
MARCAIN WITH ADRENALINE 1:200,000/0.5%: Each mL of solution for
injection contains 5mg
of bupivacaine hydrochloride and 5micrograms of adrenaline
(epinephrine) as acid tartrate.
(Note: Epinephrine is another name for adrenaline. Adrenaline is
