EFFECTS OF THIS MEDICINE
This medicine lowers serum phosphorus concentration by forming
insoluble salt through
binding to dietary phosphate ion in the digestive tract and
suppressing intestinal absorption of
phosphorus.
It is usually used to improve hyperphosphatemia in patient with
chronic kidney disease.
THE FOLLOWING PATIENTS MAY NEED TO BE CAREFUL WHEN USING THIS
MEDICINE.BE SURE TO TELL YOUR DOCTOR
AND PHARMACIST.
・If you have previously experienced any allergic reactions (itch,
rash, etc.) to any medicines
or foods.
If you have intestinal stenosis, intestinal diverticulum, or a history
of peritonitis/abdominal
surgery.
If you have or a history of gastrointestinal ulcer.
・If you are pregnant or breastfeeding.
・If you are taking any other medicinal products. (Some medicines may
