WHAT BIG VALUE ANTISEPTIC
GERMICIDE IS USED FOR
For antiseptic wound cleansing and
disinfection of skin lesions including
cuts and abrasions.
HOW BIG VALUE ANTISEPTIC
GERMICIDE WORKS
Chloroxylenol is a substituted phenol
which has been widely used for many
years as an ingredient of
antiseptic/disinfectant products
intended for external use. It is known
to be bactericidal in low concentration
to a wide range of Gram positive and
Gram negative bacteria.

ANTISEPTIC GERMICIDE
When you must not use it
-On eczema or similar dry skin
conditions
-If you are allergic to chloroxylenol or
any of the other ingredients.
-After the expiry date printed on the
bottle.

Currently there have been no reports
of problems when this product is used
with other medicines.
HOW TO USE BIG VALUE ANTISEPTIC
GERMICIDE
How much to use/When to use it
FIRST AID & MEDICAL
APPLICATIONS:
_DO NOT USE UNDILUTED _
1.
_Antiseptic wound cleaning _
_for cuts and grazes_:
1 capful to 300ml water.
Clean and cover with dry lint.
2.
_Antiseptic use for midwifery_:
1.5 capfuls to 1 litre warm
water. For external antisepsis.
3.
_Infection control_:
1.5 capfuls to 1 litre water.
Ideal for general disinfection
in hospitals, clinics, nurseries.
HOUSEHOLD APPLICATIONS:
1.
_Washing machines_:
3 capfuls to 2 litres water.
