After the rod is inserted, the hole is sealed with a tamper-proof plastic plug or similar item. Treatment zones are nonnally adjacent to the End Grain of the timber or at points where the moisture content of the timber is conducive to fungal attack, ie >20%. Volume of zone to be treated needs to be calculated to ensure the correct amount ofiMPEL is used. Refer application rates above.
