The uncemented mobile-tibial component, keeled tibial plate has a flat, mirror-polished floor for tibial liner articulation; the lack of additional surface spines, ripples or screw-holes minimises PE liner wear. The Ti+HA coated undersurface promotes osteointegration. The internal truncated conical cavity in the keel accommodates the liner peg, partially constraining the liner while allowing rotation based on a central-pivot design. The plate has a 0? posterior and 6? articular surface slope. The Trekking Femoral Component MB ? Uncemented is a component of the Trekking Total Knee Replacement System which is a modular system that provides an optimal fit between the replaced joint and the limb. Indications: - Knee arthrosis - Extensive primary and secondary destruction of the joint to the extent that the functional efficiency of the locomotive apparatus is reduced; - Severe pathological condition affecting the articulation caused by degenerative and rheumatoid arthritis; - Joint fracture or bone necrosis; Post-surgical conditions after previous operations with or without consequent use of a prosthesis.
