WHAT FUKOLE
® CAPSULE IS USED
FOR
FUKOLE
®
CAPSULE is used to treat
and prevent cryptococcal infections (eg.
brain infection), candidiasis (eg. vagina
& tongue infection) and fungus infection,
specifically
in
patients
with
impaired
immunity.
HOW FUKOLE
® CAPSULE WORKS
Fluconazole
is
an
antifungal
agent
which inhibits fungal sterol synthesis,
thus impair growth and survival of
fungus and certain microorganisms.
BEFORE YOU USE FUKOLE
® CAPSULE
WHEN YOU MUST NOT TAKE IT
Do
not
take
FUKOLE
®
CAPSULE
if
you
have
allergy
towards
any
components
in
FUKOLE
®
CAPSULE.
Avoid taking FUKOLE
®
CAPSULE if
you are pregnant or breastfeeding.
BEFORE YOU START TO TAKE IT
Tell your doctor or pharmacist if you are
allergic to any medicines or if you have
any other health related problems.
Inform
your
doctor
if
you
have
such
conditions:

FUKOLE
®
CAPSULE may cause harm
to your unborn baby. You should not
take
FUKOLE
®
CAPSULE
while
you
are pregnant unless your doctor has told
you to. Inform your doctor if you are
pregnant or planning to become pregnant.
If
you
are
a
woman
of
child-bearing
potential,
avoid
becoming
pregnant
during
treatment.
Use
effective
contraception during treatment and for 1
week after treatment.
_Breast-feeding _
FUKOLE
®
CAPSULE
is
excreted
in
human
breast
milk,
hence
its
use
in
nursing
mother
is
not
recommended.
However,
breast-feeding
may
be
maintained if you took a single dose of
FUKOLE
®
CAPSULE
150mg.
