For the treatment of classical hemophilia (hemophilia A) in which there is a demonstrated deficiency of activity of the plasma clotting factor VIII.Routine prophylaxis to reduce the frequency of bleeding episodes and the risk of joint damage in children with severe hemophilia A with no pre-existing joint damage.Kogenate FS is not indicated for the treatment of von Willebrand’s disease.
