Nail or fix in place if relevant. Wax blocks are particularly suitable for use in damp situations where risk of contamination should be minimised. Record the number and locations of bait stations or bait placements for the purpose of replenishment and later removal. Most deaths occur 4 to 7 days after consumption of bait. Regularly search for, remove and destroy carcasses and moribund rodents so that cats, dogs or non-target animals don't eat poisoned rats and mice.
