Trade Advice:

General Instructions:

GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS

Locate bait stations or placements in areas largely inaccessible to children, along the walls

or rafters and in dark sheltered spots in which there are signs of rodent activity. Nail or fix in

place if relevant. Wax blocks are particularly suitable for use in damp situations where risk

of contamination should be minimised. Record the number and locations of bait stations or

bait placements for the purpose of replenishment and later removal. Most deaths occur 4

to 7 days after consumption of bait. Regularly search for, remove and destroy carcasses

and moribund rodents so that cats, dogs or non-target animals don't eat poisoned rats and

mice.

Resistance Warning:

Precautions:

PRECAUTIONS

Keep away from food and water and surfaces which come in contact food and water.

Protections:

PROTECTION OF LIVESTOCK, WILDLIFE, FISH, CRUSTACEANS AND ENVIRONMENT

DO NOT contaminate dams, streams, rivers, watercourses or drains with the bait or used

containers.

The bait, dead and affected rodents are hazardous to pigs, cats, dogs, poultry, birds and

wildlife and care should be exercised in its use.

DO NOT place baits in locations which are accessible to domestic animals, livestock,

nontarget native animals or birds.

Storage and

Disposal:

Store in the closed, original container in a well-ventilated area, as cool as possible.

DO NOT store for prolonged periods in direct sunlight. Store in a locked room or place

away from children, animals, food and feedstuffs, seed and fertilisers. Do not dispose of

chemicals on site. Break, crush or puncture and deliver empty packaging to an approved

waste management facility. If an approved waste management facility is not available

bury the empty packaging 500 mm below the surface in a disposal pit specifically marked

and set up for this purpose, clear of waterways, desirable vegetation and tree roots, in

compliance with relevant Local, State or Territory government regulations. Do not burn

empty containers or product. To the extent possible, untaken baits should be destroyed

according to State or Territory requirements. To the extent possible, animal carcasses

should be recovered and destroyed according to State or Territory requirements.

Safety Directions:

Poisonous if swallowed. Do not touch bait. When handling bait use disposable gloves. If on

skin and after each baiting, wash thoroughly with soap and water.

DIRECTIONS FOR USE

Baiting Strategy:

Eliminate, as far as practicable, all alternative food sources. Bait areas where conditions

might encourage rodent activity. Place baits so as to prevent access to non-target animals.

Secure or fasten bait and bait stations to minimize risk of consumption by non-target animal,

or of being dragged away. Tamper resistant bait stations must be used at locations where

access to non-target animals and children cannot otherwise be prevented. Inspect bait

stations or placements on a regular basis. Replace eaten or old/deteriorated baits. If eaten

quickly, increase the number of placements. Continue observation and replenish until no

more baits are taken. Baiting for at least two weeks is necessary to reduce rat/mouse

numbers.
