Ingestion of large doses of bifenthrin, the active constituent in Talstar ® 3ME, by laboratory animals produced signs of toxicity which included chronic convulsions, tremors and bloody nasal discharge. Effects from over exposure result from coming into contact with the skin. Contact with this product may occasionally produce skin sensations such as numbing, burning and tingling.
