GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS
FUNGICIDE RESISTANCE WARNING
Vision is a combination of a DMI (triazole) and an anilinopyrimidine
fungicide. For fungicide resistance management, Vision
is both a Group C and a Group I fungicide. Some naturally-occurring
fungal biotypes resistant to Vision, and other Group C
and Group I fungicides may exist through normal genetic variability in
any fungal population. The resistant individuals can
eventually dominate the fungal population if these fungicides are used
repeatedly. These resistant fungi will not be controlled
by Vision and other Group C and Group I fungicides, thus resulting in
a reduction in efficacy and possible yield loss.
Since the occurrence of resistant fungi is difficult to detect prior
to use, Bayer CropScience Pty Ltd accepts no liability for any
losses that may result from the failure of Vision to control resistant
fungi.
INTEGRATED PEST MANAGEMENT
Vision is suitable for use in integrated pest management (IPM)
programs, however Vision may be a hazard to parasitic
wasps and should not be used where these form part of the IPM program.
EXPORT OF TREATED FRUIT
Growers should note that MRLs or import tolerances do not exist in all
markets for fruit treated with Vision. Where fruit is
destined for export to markets in which MRLs or import tolerances do
not exist, the final application of Vision should be
no later than petal fall. If you are growing fruit for export, please
check with Bayer CropScience Pty Ltd for the latest
information on MRLs and import tolerances BEFORE using Vision.
EQUIPMENT
_GROUND APPLICATION _
Vision can be applied with all commonly used spray equipment that is
fitted with mechanical or hydraulic agitation.
