EFFECTS OF THIS MEDICINE
This medicine inhibits the action of histamine that cause allergy by a
long duration of its
antihistaminic action. It consequently improves allergic symptoms.
It is usually used to treat allergic skin disease such as hives,
eczema, dermatitis, or allergic
rhinitis.
THE FOLLOWING PATIENTS MAY NEED TO BE CAREFUL WHEN USING THIS
MEDICINE.BE SURE TO TELL YOUR DOCTOR
AND PHARMACIST.
・If you have previously experienced any allergic reactions (itch,
rash, etc.) to any medicines
or foods.
If you are a patient with glaucoma, obstructive disease in the lower
urinary tract such as
prostatic enlargement, peptic ulcer, duodenal obstruction, convulsive
disease such as
epilepsy or its history.
・If you are pregnant or breastfeeding.
・If you are taking any other medicinal products. (Some medicines may
interact to enhance or
diminish medicinal effects. Beware of over-the-counter medicines and
dietary supplements
as well as other prescription medicines.)

・In general, for adults, take 10 mL (1 mg of clemastine) at a time,
twice a day. The dosage
should be adjusted according to the age, body weight or symptoms.
Normal daily dose for
children is 4 mL (0.4 mg) for 1 to under 3 years old, 5 mL (0.5 mg)
for 3 to under 5 years
