GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS Bromine like chlorine, is destroyed by sunlight but unlike chlorine cannot be stablised to ultraviolet light and as such is only suitable for indoor pools. • Before dosing the spa or pool it is recommended that the filtration system be properly cleaned and backwashed. • Brominating tablets may be used in various automatic feed dispensers (Brominators) or placed in a refillable plastic dispenser for use in the skimmer box or as a floater. • Do not use pool stabiliser (cyanuric acid) with bromine. • pH should be tested daily using fresh testing reagents. If it falls below the required level add dry alkali, and if it rises above add dry acid. • Bromine levels should be tested daily by use of a reliable test kit using fresh testing reagents. • Dosage rates indicated are only a guide as the rate of dissolving is affected by water temperature, flow rate, bather load and other environmental conditions. It is recommended to start with 4-6 tablets. The correct level of free bromine should be maintained for several hours prior to and during pool or spa activity. To increase bromine levels operate the pump longer or add more tablets. • It is recommended after using the spa to always run filter and pump for 1 to 2 hours. • Pool or spa should be superchlorinated weekly. • It is recommended that 10% of spa water be drained each week and topped up. ---------------------------------- • 阅读完整的文件
