1. COS’È RISPERIDONE AHCL E A COSA SERVE
Risperidone appartiene ad un gruppo di farmaci chiamati
antipsicotici’.
Risperidone viene utilizzato per il trattamento di:
•
Schizofrenia, condizione in cui si possono vedere, sentire o percepire
cose che non sono presenti,
credere cose che non sono vere o sentirsi sospettosi in modo insolito
o confusi.
•
Mania, condizione in cui può sentirsi molto eccitato, euforico,
agitato, entusiasta o iperattivo. La
mania si verifica nel corso di una malattia chiamata “disturbo
bipolare”
•
Trattamento a breve termine (fino a 6 settimane) dell’aggressività
persistente in persone con demenza
di Alzheimer che fanno del male a se stesse o agli altri. Trattamenti
alternativi (non farmacologici) devono essere
stati usati precedentemente.
