WHAT PULIN
® FILM COATED TABLET IS
USED FOR
PULIN
®
FILM COATED TABLET is used to
prevent and as treatment of vomiting due to
sickness
due
to
excessive
exposure
to
radiation, postoperative and medicine induced
nausea and vomiting.
HOW PULIN
® FILM COATED TABLET
WORKS
It
works
by
increasing
the
action
of
the
muscles in the gastrointestinal tract, so that
food moves more quickly from the stomach to
the lower gut and by blocking nausea triggers
in the brain.
BEFORE YOU USE PULIN
® FILM COATED
TABLET
_-When you must not use it _
Metoclopramide should not be used if:
-you
have
gastrointestinal
problem
such
as
bleeding, obstruction or perforation
- you have epilepsy.
-you have a rare tumor of the adrenal gland,
which
sits
near
the
kidney
(phaeochromocytoma).
-you are receiving medicine which are likely to
cause extrapyramidal symptoms (that caused
movement disorders).
_-Before you start to use it _
Tell your doctor if you are allergic to any other
medicines or you have any other health related
problems.
_-Taking other medicines _
Seek for your doctor or pharmacist advice if
you intended to use PULIN
®
FILM COATED
TABLET
together
with
other
medication
especially
anticholinergics
and
opioid-
containing medication, phenothiazines and
haloperidol.
Besides,
you
must
also
inform
them
about all the medicines you are taking,
including those without a prescription.
Concurrent
used
of
metoclopramide
with alcohol and central nervous system
(CNS)
depressant
may
increase
the
sedative effect.
