86366681 11/17 For the treatment and control of intestinal parasites and lungworm in cats including: • roundworms – mature, immature and larval (L3 and L4) stages of _Toxocara cati_, and mature, immature and larval (L4) stages of _Toxascaris leonina. _Prevents lactogenic transmission of _T. cati _from queens to kittens. • hookworms – mature, immature and larval (L4) stages of _Ancylostoma tubaeforme._ • tapeworms – mature and immature stages of _Dipylidium caninum, Taenia taeniaeformis._ • lungworm – mature stages of _Aelurostrongylus abstrusus._ DIRECTIONS FOR USE: CONTRAINDICATIONS: Do not administer to kittens under 8 weeks of age, or less than 0.5kg bodyweight. FOR EXTERNAL USE ONLY. DOSAGE The minimum recommended dosage is 3 mg/kg emodepside and 12 mg/kg praziquantel equivalent to 0.14mL PROFENDER per kg bodyweight. FOR ANIMALS OF THIS TYPE USE 1 TUBE FROM THIS PACK COLOUR Small cats & kittens 0.5 to 2.5kg Gr een Medium Cats 2.5 to 5kg Blue Large Cats 5 to 8 kg Red A single treatment is effective. Retreat according to General Instructions below. ADVICE ON CORRECT ADMINISTRATION Remove one tube from blister packaging. If applying Profender ® allwormer to a cat wearing a Seresto ® collar, there is no need to remove the Seresto ® collar. However, remove any other collar prior to application, and replace when product is dry. Hold tube in upright position, twist and pull off the cap. Turn the cap over and place the other end of the cap onto the tip of the tube. Twist the cap to break the seal and then remove cap from tube. Part the hair on the cat’s neck at the base of the skull until the skin is visible. Place the tip of the tube on the skin and squeeze firmly several times to empty the contents directly onto the skin. Apply only onto intact skin. GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS For tapeworms, treat every 3 months. For roundworms and hookworms, treat at 8, and 12 weeks of age and thereafter every 3 months.
