EFFECTS OF THIS MEDICINE
This medicine has an anti-tumor effect inhibiting angiogenesis and
suppressing the tumor cell
growth and metastasis by selectively inhibiting vascular endothelial
growth factor receptors
(VEGFR-1, -2 and -3).
It is usually used to treat radically unresectable or metastatic renal
cell carcinoma.
THE FOLLOWING PATIENTS MAY NEED TO BE CAREFUL WHEN USING THIS
MEDICINE.BE SURE TO TELL YOUR DOCTOR
AND PHARMACIST.
・If you have previously experienced any allergic reactions (itch,
rash, etc.) to any medicines
or foods.
If you have: hypertension, thyroid dysfunction, thromboembolism or its
history, brain
metastasis, a wound that has not healed after surgical procedure or
liver dysfunction.
・If you are pregnant, breastfeeding or possibly pregnant.
・If you are taking any other medicinal products. (Some medicines may
interact to enhance or
diminish medicinal effects. Beware of over-the-counter medicines and
dietary supplements
as well as other prescription medicines.)
