WHAT
DUOHEXOL
TABLET IS USED FOR
DUOHEXOL TABLET is used
along with other medicines to
help treat Parkinson’s disease.
Parkinson’s disease is a brain
disorder,
which
affects
movement. The symptoms of
Parkinson’s
disease
include
trembling, rigid posture, slow
movements
and
a
shuffling
unbalanced walk.
DUOHEXOL TABLET is also
used after illnesses, which have
after-effects
like
Parkinson’s
disease.
DUOHEXOL
TABLET
can
also be used to help prevent
tremor or shaking, which have
been
caused
by
tranquillisers
such
as
reserpine
and
phenothiazines.
HOW DUOHEXOL TABLET
WORKS
DUOHEXOL
TABLET
consists
of
active
substance
Benzhexol Hydrochloride.
DUOHEXOL tablet belongs to
a group of medicines known as
anti-dyskinetics. It works by
relaxing muscle tissue and by
acting
on
the
nerves,
which
control
the
working
of
muscles.
DUOHEXOL
is
not
habit
forming.
This
medicine
is
available only with a doctor’s
prescription.

_When you must not use it _
Do
not
use
DUOHEXOL
TABLET if you have had any
of
the
following
medical
conditions
unless
advised
otherwise by your doctor:

If you are hypersensitive to,
or
have
had
an
allergic
reaction
to
benzhexol
hydrochloride or any other
ingredients
in
this
medicine.

If you have
narrow angle
glaucoma, a condition often
associated with an increase
in pressure of the eye.

If
you
have
prostatic
enlargement,
a
condition
when the gland has grown
bigger.

If
you
have
paralyticileus
or
pyloric
stenosis,
a
condition occurs where the
cause is usually a narrowed
pylorus
due
to
scarring
from
chronic
peptic
