Distraneurin capsules are a medicine used to treat withdrawal symptoms
and as a sedative.
Distraneurin capsules are used to treat:
- incipient delirium, delirium tremens and acute withdrawal symptoms
under controlled
conditions after admission to a hospital or other healthcare facility,
- confusion, agitation and restlessness in elderly patients with
difficulty performing mental
tasks or behavioural disorders (organic brain disorders) under
controlled conditions
after admission to a hospital or other healthcare facility,
- severe sleep disorders in elderly patients, where other measures to
treat this problem
cannot be used because they are ineffective or because of side
