HOW CROTOCORT CREAM WORKS
Crotamiton works by killing the mites that
cause scabies. Crotamiton also relieve
itching by producing what is called a
counter-irritation. As crotamiton evaporates
from the skin, it produces a cooling effect.
This cooling effect helps to divert your
body's attention away from the itching.
BEFORE YOU USE CROTOCORT CREAM
_-When you must not use it _
If you are hypersensitivity to crotamiton or
other ingredients stated at the end of the
leaflet._ _
_-Before you start to use it _
Inform your doctor if you have any
medical problem or if you are
pregnant/breastfeeding or plan to get
pregnant. Nursing mothers should avoid
applying crotamiton in the area of the
nipples.
_-Taking other medicines _
Tell your doctor if you are taking any other
medicines, including any that you buy
without a prescription from a pharmacy,
supermarket or health food shop.
HOW TO USE CROTOCORT CREAM
_-How much to use _
1. After taken a warm bath, let the skin dry.
2. Rub into the entire body surface from
chin down until it is fully absorbed
especially in the body folds and creases.
3. When applying crotamiton, special
attention should be paid to sites that are
particularly susceptible to infestation.
4. Do not wash the first coat of medication.
5. Apply a second coat of medication 24
hours
