Claims:
Intraruminal bolus to supplement the trace elements iodine, cobalt and
selenium for
production and/or breeding in adult cattle over 400 kg liveweight for
up to six months.
24·7 SMARTRACE ADULT CATTLE BOLUSES lie in the rumenoreticulum, the
wrapper
on the bolus dissolves and the bolus splits into two parts. These
erode and dissolve,thus
providing a supply of trace elements to the animal for up to 6 months,
with the greatest
release over the first 4 months following administration.

Contraindications:
SHOULD NOT BE ADMINISTERED TO CATTLE LESS THAN 5 MONTHS OF AGE.
This product is contraindicated for use unless cobalt deficiency is
confirmed.
This product is contraindicated for use when selenium intake from
pasture is high or
selenium is provided by other means (such as top dressing, vaccine,
pellets or selenium
drenches), if blood selenium levels at treatment are high. Users can
determine selenium
status by consulting their veterinarian.
DO NOT administer additional iodine, cobalt or selenium for at least 6
months following
treatment, unless under veterinary advice.
Precautions:
Minerals such as copper, cobalt, selenium, iron, manganese and
molybdenum compete
with each other for metabolically important processes in the animal.
Users should seek
veterinary advice before treatment. RLP APPROVED
