Each tablet contains 60 mg PRADOFLOXACIN
Claims:
For dogs between 7.5 kg and 30 kg
For the treatment of infections caused by susceptible bacterial
pathogens in skin and soft
tissues, urinary tract and gingiva and periodontal tissues in dogs.
In dogs pradofloxacin is indicated for infections of the: -
• skin and soft tissue caused by Staphylococcus intermedius group,
Staphylococcus
aureus, Streptococcus canis.
• urinary tract caused by Escherichia coli, Staphylococcus
intermedius group (includes
Staphylococcus pseudintermedius)
• gingiva and periodontal tissues caused by Porphyromonas gingivalis
and Prevotella
intermedia
Pradofloxacin is a synthetic drug from the class of the quinolone
carboxylic acid derivatives,
also known as flu
o
roquinolones.
Indescriminate use of Veraflox can contribute to the development of
antibiotic resistance.

Restraints:
DO NOT USE for any purpose, or in a manner, contrary to
this label
FOR USE ONLY in dogs which have responded poorly to other classes of
antimicrobials
and where culture and sensitivity testing indicates
no suitable alternatives. RLP APPROVED
Contraindications:
Pradofloxacin is contraindicated for administration to breeding
animals, including pregnant
and lactating dogs.
Do not use in dogs with central nervous system disorders, such as
epilepsy, as
flu
o
roquinolones could possibly cause seizures in predisposed animals.
Do not use in dogs during the period of growth as developing articular
cartilage may
be affected. The period of growth depends on the breed. For the
majority of breeds
