GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS
INSECTICIDE RESISTANCE WARNING
For insecticide resistance management Sumilarv
Insect Growth Regulator is a Group 7C insecticide.
Some naturally occurring insect biotypes resistant to
Sumilarv and other Group 7C insecticides may exist
through normal genetic variability in any insect
population. The resistant individuals can eventually
dominate the insect population if Sumilarv or other
Group 7C insecticides are used repeatedly. The
effectiveness
of Sumilarv on resistant individuals
could be significantly reduced. Since the occurrence
of resistant individuals is difficult to detect prior to use,
Sumitomo Chemical Australia Pty Ltd accepts no
liability for any losses that may result from the failure
of this product to control resistant insects. Sumilarv
may be subject to specific resistance management
strategies. For further information contact your local
supplier, Sumitomo Chemical Australia Pty Ltd
representative or local agricultural department
agronomist.
WHERE TO APPLY
Cockroaches – areas where cockroaches harbour,
paying particular attention to cracks and crevices.
Fleas – skirting boards, floors and carpets and
adjacent wall area.
Do not spray the moving parts of any machinery,
electric motors or switch gear with the water-based
product.
PRECAUTIONS
AVOID CONTACT WITH FOOD, FOOD UTENSILS,
OR PLACES WHERE FOOD IS PREPARED OR
STORED.
BEFORE USE – REMOVE OR COVER ALL EXPOSED
FOODSTUFFS. COVER ALL DISHES AND
UTENSILS, AND PLACES WHERE FOOD IS
PREPARED OR STORED.
AFTER USE – THOROUGHLY VENTILATE TREATED
AREA. CLEAN UP THOROUGHLY BEFORE
PROCESSING/SERVING RESUMES.
