EFFECTS OF THIS MEDICINE
This medicine acts on dopamine receptors to promote release of
acetylcholine and suppress
degradation of acetylcholine, thereby improving gastrointestinal
motility.
It is usually used to treat gastrointestinal symptoms (abdominal
bloating, upper abdominal
pain, loss of appetite, heartburn, nausea and vomiting) in chronic
gastritis.
