1. CHE COS’È ESCITALOPRAM CIPLA E A CHE COSA SERVE
Escitalopram Cipla contiene il principio attivo escitalopram.
Escitalopram Cipla appartiene ad un gruppo di
medicinali antidepressivi chiamati inibitori selettivi della
ricaptazione della serotonina (SSRI). Questi medicinali
agiscono sul sistema serotoninergico nel cervello, aumentando i
livelli di serotonina. I disturbi del sistema
serotoninergico sono considerati un fattore importante nello sviluppo
della depressione e delle malattie correlate.
Escitalopram Cipla è un medicinale usato per il trattamento della
depressione (episodi di depressione maggiore)
e dei disturbi d’ansia (come disturbo da attacchi di panico con e
senza agorafobia, disturbo d’ansia sociale,
disturbo d’ansia generalizzato e disturbo ossessivo-compulsivo).

Escitalopram Cipla 5 mg compresse rivestite con film: Ogni compressa
rivestita con film contiene 5 mg di
escitalopram (come ossalato).
Escitalopram Cipla 10 mg compresse rivestite con film: Ogni compressa
rivestita con film contiene 10 mg di
escitalopram (come ossalato).
Escitalopram Cipla 20 mg compresse rivestite con film: Ogni compressa
rivestita con film contiene 20 mg di
escitalopram (come ossalato).

FORMA FARMACEUTICA
Compressa rivestita con film.
Escitalopram Cipla 5 mg: Compresse rivestite con film di colore da
bianco a quasi bianco, circolari,
biconvesse, con impresso il simbolo “E5” su un lato e lisce
sull’altro lato. Diametro: 6.00 mm – 6.20 mm.
Escitalopram Cipla 10 mg: Compresse rivestite con film di colore da
bianco a quasi bianco, circolari,
biconvesse, con impresso il simbolo “E10” su un lato e lisce
sull’altro lato. Le compresse possono essere
divise in due metà uguali. Diametro: 7.50 mm – 7.70 mm.
Escitalopram Cipla 20 mg: Compresse rivestite con film di colore da
bianco a quasi bianco, circolari,
biconvesse, con impresso il simbolo “E20” su un lato e lisce
sull’altro lato. Le compresse possono essere
divise in due metà uguali. Diametro: 9.50 mm – 9.70 mm.

INDICAZIONI TERAPEUTICHE
Trattamento degli episodi di depressione maggiore.
Trattamento del disturbo da panico con o senza agorafobia.
Trattamento del disturbo d’ansia sociale (fobia sociale).
Trattamento del disturbo d’ansia generalizzato.
Trattamento del disturbo ossessivo-compulsivo.

La sicurezza di una dose giornaliera superiore a 20 mg non è stata
