1. NAME OF THE MEDICINAL PRODUCT
Coldrex MaxGrip
2. QUALITATIVE AND QUANTITATIVE COMPOSITION
Active ingredients:
Paracetamol
1000.00 mg
Phenylephrine hydrochloride
10.00 mg
Ascorbic acid
40.00 mg
3. DOSAGE FORM
Powder for oral solution (lemon).
4. CLINICAL PARTICULARS
4.1. THERAPEUTIC INDICATIONS
Short-term relief of "cold" and flu symptoms, such as:
- fever;
- nasal and sinus congestion;
- moderate intensity pain, such as: sore throat, headache, muscle
pain, sinus pain.
4.2. POSOLOGY AND METHOD OF ADMINISTRATION
The medicine is for oral administration only.
Empty the contents of 1 sachet into a cup, add hot water, stir
carefully until dissolved. Add cold
water if necessary.
_Adults (incl. elderly patients) and children over 12 years of age:_
one sachet every 4–6 hours, as
necessary.
The maximum daily dose is 4 sachets per 24 hours.
The minimal interval between doses is 4 hours.
Not recommended for children under 12 years of age.
The maximum duration of treatment without consulting a doctor is 7
days.
Do not exceed the specified dose.
Use the lowest doses and the minimum duration of administration
necessary to achieve the
effect.
4.3. CONTRAINDICATIONS
This medicine is contraindicated for the patients:
- with a history of hypersensitivity to paracetamol, phenylephrine,
ascorbic acid or excipients;
- taking or having taken monoamine oxidase (MAO) inhibitors in the
past two weeks, which are
usually used to treat depression;
- with pheochromocytoma;
- with angle-closure glaucoma;
- with hepatic or severe renal failure;
- with hypertension;
- with hyperthyroidism;
- with diabetes mellitus;
- with heart disease;
- taking tricyclic antidepressants or beta blockers.
Do not take simultaneously with other sympathomimetic decongestants.

4.4. WARNINGS AND PRECAUTIONS
It contains paracetamol. Do not use this medicine concomitantly with
other medicines containing
paracetamol or medicines used for relieving the symptoms of the common
cold and the flu and
