WHAT AMOXYCILLIN/CLAVULANIC
ACID TABLETS ARE USED FOR
Amoxycillin 500 Clavulanic Acid
125 WT tablets & Amoxycillin
875 Clavulanic Acid 125 WT
tablets contain two active
ingredients. One of these
ingredients is a type of penicillin
called amoxycillin and the other
is potassium clavulanate.
These tablets are used to treat
a wide range of infections in the
body caused by bacteria.
Amoxycillin/Clavulanic acid
tablets work by killing the
bacteria that cause these
infections.
Your doctor may have
prescribed these tablets for
another reason. Ask your
doctor if you have any
questions about why these
tablets have been prescribed
for you.
These medicines are available
only with a doctor's
prescription.
Amoxycillin/Clavulanic acid
tablets are not addictive.

AMOXYCILLIN/ CLAVULANIC ACID
TABLETS, OR SIMILAR TYPES OF
ANTIBIOTICS (E.G. PENICILLINS OR
CEPHALOSPORINS) OR ANY OF THE
INGREDIENTS LISTED AT THE END
OF THIS LEAFLET.
