INDICATIONS: WELLMARK CHLORHEXIDINE PADS is a product containing
pads soaked with chlorhexidine indicated for local antiseptic use and
skin
cleansing, as an aid in the treatment of superficial skin conditions
of dogs and
cats that are responsive to chlorhexidine and is indicated for dogs
and cats. This
product is intended to be used adjunctively in protocols for the
management of
skin conditions under the supervision of a licensed veterinarian.
ACTIVE INGREDIENT: Chlorhexidine (as digluconate) 2% w/v
DIRECTIONS FOR USE: For topical use in dogs and cats only.
Apply on affected area. May be used once or twice a week or as
directed by your
veterinarian for the specific condition being treated.
CONTRAINDICATIONS: Dogs and cats which are hypersensitive to any
component
of this formulation should not be treated with this product.
CAUTIONS: For external use only. Should not be swallowed. Avoid
contact with
eyes or mucous membranes. If contact occurs, rinse thoroughly with
water and
consult your veterinarian. Animals should be monitored to prevent
licking of the
treated area. If skin, eye or mouth irritation develops (redness,
hypersalivation),
discontinue and consult your veterinarian.
STORAGE: Store in a cool dry place (15°C – 30°C). Protect from
freezing.
