WHAT VITAMODE® V-JOINT POWDER IS
USED FOR
As adjuvant therapy for osteoarthritis
HOW VITAMODE® V-JOINT POWDER
WORKS
Vitamode® V-Joint Powder contains
Glucosamine which forms cartilage
tissue in the body and provides lubricant
activity by increasing synovial fluid
production. Chondroitin is an important
structural component of cartilage and
provides much of its resistance to
compression.
BEFORE YOU USE VITAMODE® V-JOINT
POWDER

_When you must not take it _
Do
not
take
this
product
if
you
are
allergic
(hypersensitivity)
to
Glucosamine and Chondroitin.
➢
_Before you start to use it _
Administration
during
the
first
three
months of pregnancy must be avoided.
➢
_Taking other medicines _
Glucosamine
may
reduce
the
effectiveness of antidiabetic agent such
as
Acarbose,
Acetohexamide,
Chlorpropamide,
Glipizide,
Glyburide,
Metformin,
Miglitol,
Pioglitazone,
Repaglinide, Rosiglitazone, Glimepiride,
Tolbutamide and Troglitazone.
Glucosamine
may
also
reduce
the
effectiveness of anticancer agent such as
Doxorubicin, Etoposide and Teniposide.
Concomitant
use
of
Glucosamine
potentiates the effect of Warfarin.

HOW TO USE VITAMODE® V-JOINT
POWDER

_How much to use _
Once daily in 1 glass of water (120ml)
before meal.
➢
_When to use it _
May be taken before food.
➢
_How long to use it _
Take as directed by healthcare
professional.
➢
_If you forget to take it _
If you forget to take Vitamode V-Joint
Powder, take it as soon as you remember.
Never double up on the next dose to make
up for the one missed.

_If you take too much (overdose) _
No cases of accidental
