BRAND NAME: TAGAMET INJECTION 200MG ACTIVE INGREDIENT: Cimetidine DOSAGE FORM: injection IMPRINT OR PRINT ON WRAPPING: EFFECTS OF THIS MEDICINE This medicine blocks histamine H 2 receptor of gastric mucosal barrier cells to suppress gastric acid secretion. It is usually used for upper gastrointestinal bleeding (due to peptic ulcer, acute stress ulcer or hemorrhagic gastritis), suppression of upper gastrointestinal bleeding due to invasive stress (major surgery requiring postoperative management, cerebrovascular disorder/head injury/multi organ failure/severe burn requiring intensive care) and anesthetic premedication. THE FOLLOWING PATIENTS MAY NEED TO BE CAREFUL WHEN USING THIS MEDICINE.BE SURE TO TELL YOUR DOCTOR AND PHARMACIST. ・If you have previously experienced any allergic reactions (itch, rash, etc.) to any medicines or foods. ・If you are a patient with renal dysfunction. ・If you are receiving hemodialysis. ・If you are pregnant or breastfeeding. ・If you are taking any other medicinal products.
